Buena calidad de Botas se ven finas, resistentes y buen terminado la talla me parecio un poco grandeLo unico malo es lo calido los materiales internos que hace sudar facilmente.I used these boots for 3 weeks while hiking in New Zealand and am satisfied with them. They are waterproof, they are pretty comfortable, they breathe okay while still not letting your toes freeze early in the morning when the ground is frosting, and have fantastic grip. The one sour note is the durability of the rubber toe cap of the boot.I forgot to bring my gaiters on the trip and can confirm to anyone asking that they are definitely waterproof, even when submerged in moving bodies of water. The lower edge of the black band running around the ankle section of the boot that holds the two upper lace hooks were as high as I let them sit in running stream water (the tongue of the boot splits from the ankle any higher up). If moving quickly through a stream or body of water you can let the water run a bit higher and keep dry so long as you have them tied up tight. My only real complaint with these boots are the durability of the exterior toe cap. Both boot toe caps have flaking of the upper-center rubber revealing a layer of fibrous material (presumably loose strands of the materials used for the majority of the boot). The flaking is relatively small and not a huge worry in my case as my boots are going to face more manageable terrain from now on. More avid rock-hopping, foot-wedging hikers though may run into trouble later down the line with continued use.Other minor, but expected flaws keep these boots ratings, and pricing, from completely skyrocketing. (poor shedding of water occasionally leading to damp boots when the water is allowed to seep into the boots for hours, not an ultra-lightweight build, good breathability instead of amazing breathability still leads to damp boot interiors after some duration/intensity hikes)I've been wearing Hi-Tecs for many years as they are one brand that seems to fit my feet comfortably. I recently went to buy a pair at my local sporting goods store and the D width was too narrow, so I ordered them from Amazon in the 2E width. They're still a little tight but are comfortable with light weight socks; after wearing them for awhile they might be comfortable with a heavier sock as well. They are intended to be my camping and hiking boots; I was able to wear them all day, without issue, on our latest camping trip. They have good support in the sole and a comfortable in-sole, which is important for me, as I have bursitis, tendonitis and arthritis issues in my feet. They seem to be well made and should last a couple of years, just as my other Hi-Tecs have done. I have a pair of Hi-Tec Altitude hiking boots for hunting that I've used for six or seven hunting seasons. They are still in good condition, they're surprisingly comfortable, they've kept my feet dry while treking through snow, across creeks and climbing in and out of my kayak. They've held up to rocky slopes and the tough terrain that is Northern Nevada. They even kept my feet warm in sub-zero weather one year...as long as I was moving.Like it's leather cousin, this shoe is comfortable right out of the box with no break in period. It is very light weight and airy, making it perfect for the warmer months. My feet do not sweat nearly as much as they do if I wear the same model Hi Tec shoe in the leather edition. These shoes appear to be well made. Shoe strings are too short for a full volume foot or anyone with a high instep which I anticipated and switched to a longer lace. The color is perfect for anyone wishing to use them while gardening. They don't show the dirt too much and they seem to be waterproof as I didn't get wet feet from a heavy morning dew while in the garden. They work good with my orthotics except I would prefer a bit more ankle support. All in all I like these hikers & recommend them for cooler summer wear.Good boot. I just got them and used them on 10 mile hike in the snow. First 5-6 miles were no problem. My feet got tired around mile #6, somewhat due to lack of support that other reviewers said, but overall, was not bad. The inside sole is very flat. One major disappointment was that one spot on the right boot got wet. It was close to the base of my pinky toe. These are advertised as waterproof (not water resistant), so expected no water inside. I wore wool socks, which were bone-dry after the hike (except the area I mentioned).I rated the boot as "somewhat large" but my foot size can vary between a 10.5 and 11 depending on the manufacturer. I got the 11 because I figured that if it was too big, I'd wear thick socks to make up the difference. I should have gotten a 10.5.For the money, this was a good buy. It was much less expensive than other bigger name brands, plus these are waterproof. En general cómoda y buena relación precio-calidadAwesome pair of trekking boots. accomplished some real long treks with this lovely pair of boots. The feet fit in snugly & you can just keep walking without your souls getting tired. The more you walk the better you feel with this pair of boots.Looks good too.Cheers.........This is a beautiful and sturdy hiking boots, waterproof also. Very comfortable, the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was, there was no half size. I wear 8.5 and I can only buy 9, no big deal but would like to wear exact my size.
