First, I bought the white ones at a premium price because they look awesome on and off!Second, I really really wanted them to fit and work.Now the advice:The PRICE (for the really cool white ones)- a bit high for what you getThe FIT - you have to get creative to get these to fit. Consider them like socks rather than shoes.I was about to return them. I had a friend here who loved the look but gave me good advice, "If you have to go thru gyrations to MAKE them fit, are they worth it?". I am here to say, "Yes, for me they are well worth the gyrations. First, I had to change my mind about my thick and heavy daily socks. I tried buying new socks and the (awful to me) no show socks (not socks just bottom foot coverings). None of that worked the shoe collar simply hugged my sock so tightly it made wearing the shoe uncomfortable because the heavier cotton socks clung to the sock collar. I was miserable until I thought, these shoes are LIKE socks so how about barefoot?! Putting them on barefoot was still a challenge but I got them on and I could wear them!!! I was ecstatic until I again realized these shoes will chafe and hurt a bit with no cloth barrier and they will be very cold in the winter - summer only shoes??? No way. What to do?SOLUTION: my equivalent of compression socks! I put my nice thin professional dress socks on and instantly I could slip them on (they are made of nylon or a synthetic fabric and very smooth). Now I am doing a wear test to see how they feel for all day usage in the house. Next, I will try them at church as Sunday shoes and then when I think the time is right I will wear them out and about. I am sure I will get there.Verdict: These are great shoes and I recommend them to those who want to learn how to enjoy them. They are an acquired taste but worth it. My feet feel really good and that says it allLove these shoes best ever. Ive worn these shoes without even having to break them in. I suffered from heel spurs in my right heel. LEGIT these shoes have me running again and even on trails. Finally bought them when the price had dropped and I’m so glad I did! I started having heel/arch pain but I noticed that it went away when I wore these! I ended up wearing them all day to a theme park and had absolutely no pain all day! Sure my feet and legs were tired at the end of the day, but they didn’t hurt like with other shoes. Water still goes through the shoe it's an amazing and comfortable shoe to hike in and some water splash, but to walk around in muddy or heavy rain not a good shoe better off with a real hiking bootEven my feet are not wide, and my instep isn't that big, the upper strap keeps coming out when I try to put the shoes on. And when is on, the instep part is to tight. Otherwise the shoes are light and comfortable, true to size, not for wide feet.Difficult or easy to wear is a matter of opening. This is a good looking shoe to have, I like it. Tengo el modelo en blanco, pensé que la bota era más alta pero en si es la suela es la que es más alta, se ven bien y son cómodos, ahora bien deben avisarte que las tiras negras que atraviesan el tenis y la hacen de sujetadores, se pueden safar para poder meter el pie más fácil de lo contrario es algo casi imposible, no son elásticas, ahora una vez que metiste el pie volver a poner las bandas negras no es fácil, tienen forma de flecha pero no es algo sencillo, no son para personas con prisa. Cómo tip las bandas se safan de la cara exterior del tenis, del extremo interno están pegadas así que con cuidado no las vayan a romper, se ven bonitos y todo pero si el tema de cómo te los abrochas me causa conflicto y me hacen quitarle estrellas , hubiese preferido algo más sencillo de usar.This is my second pair I ordered as the first pair had excessive glue marks coming from the seams and the second pair has these scuffs on the heel marks. Not exactly the best quality control but I don't feel like returning them a second time as these will be my winter pair.
