Most comfortable hiking boots I've worn straight out of the box. Minimal break in time.Fits perfect like always just put them on and go. Love keensFantastic boots. I broke them in by wearing them to work for three days. I have a desk job but get to walk around a bit. Then I took them on a 20 mile 3 day backpacking trip in Olympic National Forest in mid November. They kept my feet dry in constant drizzle. More importantly, they kept me WARM in 40 degree weather for 3 days.I cant speak highly enough about how comfortable these boots are. If I had to buy another pair today, it would be these.I have been using Keen Targhee II and III for hill hiking 3.5-7.0 miles per day. This is the second time I got the EXP version. They, too, are comfortable out of the box as well as consistent in fit. They are fairly light weight and don't lose their comfort until the heal is well worn. I wear down the heals in 3-4 months so each pair lasts me at least 300 miles.What can I say these are the first boots that are super comfortable right out the box. The more they break in the more comfortable they will get. The fit is great and supplies great support. As an officer and on my feet a lot I needed a boot that could be comfortable for 12-16hrs. So far they have not disappointed. I will update this review later on if necessary. As for now I am a Keen believer. Do not hesitate in buying this boot if your on your feet for long periods of time.Great for my son. He has a problem with being pigeon toed and walks tip-toe due to shortened tendons. He's been through physical therapy for this and they said he needed a hiking boot that forced him to walk flat footed to stretch his tendons and gave good support. This boot meets our needs perfectly and is very durable.Love Keen. Always comfortable always fits.I average 30 miles a week on trails in the Southern California Santa Ana mountains. These are great trails shoes with just the right amount of sole flex. They are lite weight, very comfortable and waterproof in streams up to the top of the boot. 5 months old now and they show very little wear on the tread.I have had these boots a couple of months and have been wearing them for walking the dog across fields. Their first real test came today when the grass was wet from overnight rain. Thirty minutes into the walk I realised that my feet where getting wet! One of the reasons that I chose these boots was that they were supposed to be waterproof. It wasn't as if I was wading through streams. It was just wet grass. Not impressed.As usual and excellent mid cut boot from KeenTrue fit means a size 8 is exactly that.Good trail walking boot thats comfy and supportive with good toebox.Look even better when wornAlways like a boot with a toe bumperUnbelievably light hiking boot. The boots required almost no breaking in, and are really comfortable. They seem very durable but I guess only time will tell.Best boots I've had in a while. Gone through so many with linings ripping and supports crumbling but these are tough and look smart too. They look even better on.Fit well, very light, good looking. Can't comment any further as not had chance to try them on an extended X country walk.
