Garbagemen are straight up hard on boots. I have tried many brands, styles. These particular Keen boot is great thus far. I am concerned about the cheap route they went with the sole welting. Eventually the natural degradation from trash, slop eats rubber and deteriorates the materials. I rotate my boots daily, knowingly that any boot i wear too much becomes toast in about 4 to 6.months.......update to come.Very comfy daily hiker. Nice fit keen comfort as usual.First hike the boots started to fall apart. The comfort and feel of these are awesome. The outside parts started to pull apart.I bought these for my son for our hiking trip to Canada. He wore them once and said they were the most uncomfortable shoes. I wish I could return them, but upon returning from our trip, the return window was already closed. A lot of money wasted.Great hiking shoes that keep you goin all day with comfortI have a pair of Keen utility boots i wore everyday (work & home) for 8 yrs. I still wear them working around the farm. Still haven"t worn em out. I like to try on shoes before I buy, but no local stores had this style. These boots fit great,light & very comfortable.Fit perfectly lightweight and comfortable.Would buy again! Would recommend to a friend! I’m so clumsy, this shoe saved me from rolling an ankle 5x. I ran over a mile straight down mountains in Zion National Park and this is the only shoe would want on my side. Incredible support, and style.I’ve had these boots for a couple of weeks now and they are absolutely brilliant! I’ve walked over 20 miles in them now and have nothing to grumble about. Zero break in required, they’re good to go straight out of the box. They are very, very comfortable and they are a good size to fit. 100% waterproof and very easy to clean. I’m going to buy my Dad a pair for his birthday later this month. Very impressed with this company.Waterproof and super comfortable from the first wear. Flexible toe patch really works. Will certainly buy Keen again. Used every day for pavement walking with the dog in all weather. Durable sole, shows little sign of wear after several months.Lightweight, comfortable perfect fit. The boots are high quality and I will enjoy wearing themI have worn out other pairs of Keen boots but that was after considerable use in harsh conditions, so that is to be expected. I have worn these hiking boots for maybe two months, the sides are splitting in numerous places (on both shoes in the same spots) and some of the accents on the sides are peeling off. I love Keen footwear and will continue to purchase for work and hiking but these just do not seem to be their best option or the quality that Keen is usually putting forth.Durable, light weight and good looking. However, the bellows over the foot bridge idea falls short. It pinches. The sole material while durable does not provide a comfortable cushion on hard surfaces like asphalt or concrete. The soles are grippy however. Have owned many hiking boots over the years and these get a 2 out of 10 from me. Keen needs to rethink their concept of comfort, because himers wear their footwear for many, many hours.
