Fist hike with these was 11 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 3000 ft and these were super comfortable. They do run large, I wear a 10.5 in Keen and Merrell but in these a 10 fit. No break in period they were comfortable right out of the box. They may not be supportive enough for heavy backpacking but great for hiking with a small backpack.The most comfortable hiking boots I ever had. Hiked about 2 hours as soon as I got them. Not blisters. Very light weight and waterproof. Loved them. Fit perfect and they look very cute.I bought these for my wife. We took up winter hiking this year. They look awesome, and she says these are just as comfortable as her running shoes. The ankle support is perfect for her, and her feet stay warm and dry. I'm shopping for a similar pair of Salomon boots for myself now.The shoes look just like the same as in picture. The size is totally match to my feet from the chart size recommend. Light. Awesome Quality. Shipping fast - 10 days to Thailand. I LOVE THEM. CANT WAIT TO TRY OUT in the Woods!The boots seemed fine and grip well. But the laces hook onto the opposing boot. I fell on a sidewalk and may need meniscus surgery. Making that diagnostic appointment tomorrow. I didn't even know what happened, as the sidewalk was smooth and my laces were tied. It felt as though my left foot was held to the ground by an invisible hand. Then it happened again, but I didn't fall that time. However I realized that the laces hooked into the top hook of the opposing boot. I now double around the ankle for the final lacing, and cover with a large sock, but I am going to contact the company. This is a serious design flaw and I am sorry to report it. The pain from my let hip bone has subsided, as had the left elbow, but the pain in my right knee is very persistent and I am going to see an orthopedic surgeon to find out specifically what is injured. My regular practitioner said the inside knee pain could be a meniscus injury.Lightweight and comfortable! No break in needed.Wide on the toes, which is what I was looking for.I ordered my regular size and it’s a little bigger, but I prefer like that.Comfortable right out of the box. No break in period. Very roomy toe box.
