Fantastic shorts. I am 6'4", 230 lbs, with an inseam of ~35 inches. The shorts fit great. They come down to right above my knee cap. Any tall person knows it is a struggle to find longer shorts. What seems like a longer pair of shorts to someone that is 5'6" can be feel like booty shorts to someone my size. They walk well; nothing bunches up. They also sit well. A belt is also included, a very nice touch.I have only two minor complaints. First, The waist pockets are not deep enough for my liking. It is hard comfortably hold my Samsung Galaxy S5 sometimes. It also feels the the contents of my pockets will spill out when I sit down. This has not happened, but it feels like it. Second, the belt that is included does not cinch up as tight as I would like. When I use the included belt, the shorts always end up riding at hip level. This does not happen with my trusty leather belt.Despite these complaints, I liked these shorts so much I purchased another set.I have bought two pairs of these now (one black and one bright blue). I really like both -- and that's saying something, considering I really dislike wearing shorts. They fit me well, the stitching and buttons hold up well (from what I can tell after ~3 months of use), and the fabric is soft.I only have two minor grievances, but they barely even count. In the interest of full disclosure I thought I'd share. The top pockets (non-cargo) are pretty shallow. i.e., when I put my Pixel XL in my top pocket, part of the phone sticks out of the pocket because the phone doesn't fit. I put it in my cargo pocket instead, no big deal. You know how some clothing materials are more likely than others to accumulate fur from pets more than other materials? This one seems to be the kind that is really good at getting my cat's fur stuck to it. Again, not a big deal because I just wipe that stuff off with a lint roller.Overall, these are great and I might even buy some more (assuming the two pairs I own stay in one piece).I ordered these shorts for active wear, for walking, hiking and other activities based on reviews from others suggesting they would be baggy and therefore provide good room for movement. They are well made in that they are a nice thick cotton material and have a sturdy construction. However, I always buy a 36 inch waist in pants to allow for good room for movement, and in shorts made by Wrangler and other pants this works well for hiking and bicycling and paddling, but these pants are tighter in the crotch area for a guy, so that for sitting in a kayak or canoe, you need to make some adjustments. Also the pockets are not deep, so putting keys in them, or even change, the items do not sit deep and so they ride higher and rub your thighs as you walk. I really debated between giving these 3 or four stars. They are sturdy and a nice heavy weight cotton, but compared to numerous pairs of other active shorts I own by Wrangler or some other companies they are definitely not as loose fitting for movement and even for sitting.PROS:* 2" bigger than tape measure, which matches Dickies, but is smaller than Wrangler and Old Navy.* Decent stitching (double-stitch seams).* Thigh pocket size is good for big phones.CONS:* Front pockets are 3" deep. My keys don't stay in when I sit.* Tight button holes* Buttons, not snapsSnaps would be best. Velcro is okay. Buttons are inconvenient. This is visible in the web, so it was expected. The button holes are tight, so even with big buttons, they are hard to close while moving. The front pockets go to my second knuckle. Proper pocket liners should be twice as deep, and should be slightly deeper towards centerline.Otherwise, good shorts. They are bigger than tape measure, but not hugely so. Standard US vanity sizing.I've a 36" inseam and these touch the middle of my knee. Fabric is thin and light, but still strong. Double-stitched seams are strong too.I had not heard of this brand before so I was a little hesitant but the price and Amazon's easy return policy left little risk. I am very pleased with this purchase. These shorts fit true to size. The material is thick enough to resist wrinkles thoughout the day (even in the AZ heat) yet not so heavy as to not stay cool. These shorts also have one of the thinnest profiles for cargo shorts that I have experienced. The side pockets do not flare out and I was wearing more of a "chino" short than a cargo short. I would definitely buy again at this price point.BTW - I am 6'3" tall and these shorts come to just above my knees which is the exact length I try to find but rarely can.For a brand that is labeled "One Tough Brand" I was a little disappointed. Immediately noticed that one of my pairs had the closure button falling off and and had to break out my sewing kit to reconnect it. Also, both pairs of these shorts I received had belt loops too small for anything but the flimsy fabric belt that the shorts come with which I toss to the side in preference for either my rigger belt or leather, concealed carry belt. Also, the slash pockets are FAR to shallow for anything but keys and pocket change. Your smartphone will have to go into a cargo pocket, or stick out of the pocket by an inch and a half. Lastly, the fly is ridiculously short. Using a urinal while wearing these may take extra time...no exaggeration. As far as the construction in general-aside from the closure button on the one pair-they seem fairly well put together, with no noticeable flaws.First, for some reaaon they shipped them to me 1st Class..not sure why but they probably didnt make any money because of that.. The shorts are prerty nice. Front pockets are a little short and the stitching of all pockets seemed to come undone a bit after a wash. Havent noticed any holes resulting from this though. The material of the shorts is thick but not stiff and I really like that. Buttons on back pockets were odd at first but I kinda like not worrying about my wallet falling out or being stolen.Están un poco más largos de lo que esperaba pero son de muy buena calidad
