Decent fit, but they run a little big. Realizing variances with different manufacturers and even styles within manufacturers, I generally wear 10s or 9 1/2s. I have 10s in another Salomon shoe and they fit perfectly. Found out the 9 1/2s in Salomon are definitely too small. But the 10s in this style are a little loose and long -- the fit still works, however. Also, the laces that came with these are super long - have to double tie them for sure, and still long. My other Salomons are perfect length. Not sure if this style shoe just happens to have super long laces or if I got a pair of 12 or 14 laces with a 10 shoe! Not the end of the world. Good shoe so far; good on trails hiking loose gravel and such. They are comfortable, but they're not hiking shoes as they provide no support whatsoever. I have returned them as the stitching is going inside the right heel and it has expanded to the extent that my heel slips around inside - it looks as though the left heel is going the same way. This happened within one week of me owning them.I have three other pairs of Salomon which I've owned for several years and they are robust - so much so that the grip has gone on one pair even though the uppers are still just about serviceable. I do hope that Salomon hasn't decided to produce tat. I look forward to receiving the replacement shoes to see if they are more robustI really liked the look of these shoes. I’ve had a few pairs of Speedcross before so I knew what to expect. Lovely and light. Very comfortable. Although I bought them last year it was first time out this weekend just gone. Disappointed when I spilled about a pint of water over one and got a wet foot. It looks like the wording in the ad has been changed now but they were 100% advertised as waterproof and they are definitely not.It’s a shame as I really like the brand but do feel that I didn’t receive the shoes I paid for :(Very light, comfortable and great for treadmill walking.Edit for the money these ain't worth it! 5 weeks in and the the back is wearing away, my toes are sore and they still rub! Doing 10km a day but for this amount of money I thought these would be better! Addidas here I come and £70 in the binShoes are too small and not true to fit in comparison to other salomon products I own. They are far too tight across the toes and round the ball of your feet. The rear cushioning of the right shoe has already scrunched up (within two weeks) even though I fully undo the laces each time.Overall not impressed by these shoes. Also amazon has them under the search for waterproof trainers, they definitely aren't waterproof.Nice light shoe very comfortable. I run on a beach. They get wet every time and I run about 30km a week. My issue is that after owning for 6 months, there is a hole worn on the top of the shoe above my little toe. I think that is a bit too early for a running shoe to start to fall apart. May be the salt water but its not at a seam. It just seems to be the material not being thick or sturdy enough.
