I've had these about a month now and have ended up wearing these every day not just for hiking, that's how much I love them! First let me say it took trying a couple different sizes so definitely size down! I typically wear a 7 in most boots or hikers but I ended up down to a 6! I always buy wide width and these have a great wide front toe box even with thick socks there's plenty of room. I was expecting to need a break in period but they were pretty good right out of the box. The only issue is I wish the bottom insert was a little more comfortable/softer as I have bad Neuropathy issues in my feet but that's easy to change if I decide to. The colors are great and hide the dirt from mud and dirty from the trails. Buy them you will be happy you did, just size down.
