I’m very happy with these hiking shoes. I have no problem with the fit. I think I read someone commenting about them being too narrow. I can maybe see what they are talking about but not that much of an issue for me. It probably depends on the shape of your foot.I’ve always had cheap hiking shoes and sneakers that would get wet during a storm. Thankfully, I haven’t had any problems with wet feet/socks with these shoes. So the extra money was worth it. I’ve stepped in many deep puddles with ease (though the splashing may have gotten my pants wet). They are hiking shoes. So, they are a little more solid and I can’t use them for jogging, but great for walking. I use them in all conditions: forested trails, dirt/sand trails, and even sidewalks. Due to the extra support I walk a little slower on a sidewalk as compared to a sneaker, but that’s to be expected. I haven’t tested them out for longer than a couple hours at a time. So, I don’t know how they would feel if you were in them the entire day. I’ve had them for about 8 months now.
