ECCO Men's Terracruise Lite Hiking Shoes - Lightweight Waterproof Trail Running Shoes for Outdoor Adventures & Travel

This will be my 5th or 6th pair of Ecco's and they are great. Mine usually last several years since I use them for exercise and every day use. I only have a pair of cowboy boots when I need to put on something for formal wear. They are light, breathable and just overall the best shoes out there. I have never had them fail as far as construction goes.By that I mean - I love ECCO's - they are for wide feet. It's not as tight as a regular sneaker but not as wide as my leather ECCO leather dress sneakers . After a few walks I was able to break them in - but they are not my favorite - like my other ECCO's. As my wife says - They are ugly - LOL. They look like hiking sneakers - which aren't supposed to be pretty but she doesn't want me to wear them when I walk in the neighborhood - LOL - which is the reason I bough them.Great shoes! I'm on my feet all day and these do the job. My only gripe is the drawstring seems to be wearing down quickly and once this goes, I'm not sure how to fix it.Great shoes, I have been using Ecco shoes for 20 years and they have always performed well. I like to walk and ECCO provides the best walking shoes. I love the no tie shoe strings!I have bought many Ecco shoes and boots over the years with no problems. Over the past year or so the sizing of the shoes has varied much more than in the past. I ware a 42 and the shoes fit every time in the past. I had to return the last two orders. One was too small and one was too big. The shoes are excellent quality. I hope I will be able to resolve the fit problem.TOO LARGEA little expensive for what you get.I was going to buy a replacement shoes for the one that I bought 3 yers ago. I like them very much so I ordered the same model. What I received looks only distantly like the original one, but it much worse in every aspect. I even thought that it is a cheap counterfeit. I am wondering is great ECCO shoemaker going downhill? Maybe management changed.Don't judge by the first 2 days. The upper get more comfy after. I love that the upper is breathable, the shoe is lightweight, and it looks good as well. A terrific casual shoe.Great shoes. Very lightweight. Hoffentlich kann ich sie lange anziehen und sind den Preis wert.Ist nicht das erste mal , dass sich bei ECCO - Schuhen die Nähte lösen , und das nach noch nicht mal zwei Monaten !Werde in Zukunft keine ECCO Schuhe kaufen , für diese Qualität viel zu teuer !!!
